POC Beach Volleyball Camps
Are you tournament ready?
Paradise Ocean Club Beach Volleyball isproud of its reputation as a top beach volleyball training facility & Jr’s programsin the 757. Players travel from around the Hampton roads area andRichmond to take part in our unique, game changing events. BeachVolleyball is so much more than just skill. Learning the intricatestrategies of this game can significantly improve your success on thecourt. We strive to not only improve your fundamentals, but also to teachyou the unique strategies, and the mental side of the game, that will help yourise above the competition. We are offering 4 specialty one week volleyballtraining camps for players that want to excel in tournaments and to helpelevate your game to the next level!
AdvancedCamps are Mon-Thurs 10:00am-1:00pm

AtParadise Ocean Club – Fort Monroe, Va.
Cost$50 a camper for each camp if you choose 3, 4th camp is free.($150for all)
Beachvolleyball doubles experience needed for advanced camps
Allparticipants must have their VolleyAmerica membership
Camps offered: June –July
WEEK 1 –June 18-21 Advanced Offensive –Serving/Serve receive, Batter’s box, approach, shots & hitting.
WEEK 2- June 25-28 Advanced Defense – Advancedserving, court awareness, digging, transitioning point.
WEEK 3 –July 2-5 Advanced Serve receive – Handlingjump serves, floaters, playing the wind, siding out at a high level.
WEEK 4 – July 9-12Advanced game play – Putting itall together for managing a tournament.
What does your volleyball playerneed?
Campers areresponsible for carrying their own belongings. POC coaches are notresponsible for lost or stolen items. Place your name and any otheridentifying information INSIDE your bag.
Camps areconducted on the beach and sunscreen is essential. Even if you apply sunscreenat home, bring a container to re-apply later.
Dress in aswimsuit or other comfortable beach clothes (shorts, t-shirt, tank top.) Werecommend light colors that reflect sunlight and keep you cool.
Bringsandals or shoes to walk between parking lots, restrooms and courts. Bring sandsocks or athletic socks in case the sand gets very hot.
Bring a hator visor and sunglasses.
Water isprovided on-site for all campers at regular breaks. If you want something elseto drink or eat—like energy bars, sports drinks or fruit—bring it.
Bring Swimsuit and towel for pool after camp.
